Registration essentials
Here’s what you need to know to get your child ready for the season with the Wetzel County Griffins.
How to register
You can register your athlete online for the current season, or we will be posting dates for our in-person signups shortly. Additionally, flyers will be sent home from school as the in-person dates get closer.
Registration fees
The registration fee is $100 and helps cover the costs of uniforms, equipment, insurance, and LKC league dues.
Required documents
We MUST have a copy of the athlete's birth certificate, insurance card, and most recent report card or proof of school enrollment. ALL athletes MUST have a current physical on file before they will be permitted to begin practice.
Experience the excitement!
It is awesome to see the younger kids as they get their first taste of cheer or football and to watch all the kids grow throughout the season. To see them play and cheer on the field is exciting and such a proud moment for the parents and coaches alike.
What happens after online registration?
After online registration, we will reach out with a date for our in-person sign-ups. It is recommended that you and your athlete attend one so that additional paperwork can be completed prior to the first day of practice, and also so that we can fit your athlete for the size uniform and shoulder pads or cheer uniform they will need for the season.

2026 FOOTBALL AND CHEER CAMP!!!
We are excited to announce that registration for the 2026 Wetzel County Griffins Football and Cheer Camp will be open soon!
Camp dates are June 22, 2026 thru June 25, 2026, from 6pm to 8pm. All ages are welcome!
Pre-Registration will be $45 per camper and includes a camp t-shirt. Day of Registration will be $50 with a t-shirt depending on availability.
